Carl Franzoni was what some would say, Vito's right hand man, always with him, helping lead the crazy dance troupe up and down the sunset strip. Frank Zappa wrote 'Hungry Freaks, Daddy' for him. There are a lot of photos of Carl with the Mothers in the mid-late sixties. He even took part in some early mothers recordings.

At one point he had to flee to canada because he was at the bottom of a very big drug bust, this was around the early 70's. He later became the commissioner of parks and recreation in a town in California, and now he is an artist and lives right here in Santa Rosa.
